Imagine a set of filters that apply to either pixel paint or vector objects! On a vector layer, simply right click on an object in the Layer List and choose a filter.

On a pixel layer you choose live effects from the menu bar.

For more control over the Live Effects on a vector layer, open the Attributes palette and choose the fx tab.

Here, you can add, delete, or edit a filter as well as re-order the list of applied effects by dragging and dropping them in the order you prefer. Changing the order of Live Effects has an impact on the appearance of the object the effects are applied to.
