VariationsJust when you thought vector painting couldn't be any more fun, Acrylic let's you spread your wings with variations. On a vector layer, open the Variations palette.
![]() Click the only button you see on this palette to unleash it's full potential. ![]() For those of you who are new to Acrylic, vector painting is as easy as pixel painting. Just create a vector layer, choose the Freehand drawing tool and start painting. For this example, I'm choosing a green color in the PaintStyle palette and moving the hue and saturation sliders on the Variations palette to the right. ![]() As I paint strokes, notice the variations in color and intensity.
![]() In addition to hue, saturation, and lightness, you can set variations in width, stroke width randomness, stroke randomness and variable transparency.
