Spiral Flowers - Stage 2

The tutorial will use a basic shape as a starting point to go from this:

1 – Open the file completed in Stage 1, Part B of this tutorial.

2 – Unlock the Petal layer.

3 – Create a bitmap object onscreen by Object > Image > Create Image Object > set resolution to 300 dpi.

4 – On this computer the bitmap object appeared at 793 by 1012 pixels, yours may differ slightly so for consistency you may wish to work from the attached file 002.design.

5 – Select the bitmap object and change blend mode to Multiply.

6 – CTRL+C > CTRL+F

7 – Change the Registration Point from centred to midpoint on the base.

8 – Type 30 into the angle of rotation box and press Return.

9 – Repeat steps 5, 6, 7 and 8 until a circular composition has been achieved (noting that you will need to reassign the registration Point after each CTRL+F). The image should now look something like this:

10 – Save the file under a different file name and prepare for Stage 3.
