10 – Contract Hot Layer, turn Visibility Off. On Cold Layer: turn Visibility On and expand it to show Layer contents.

11 – Select Text object and make the following changes:

No Fill Stroke: Spiky Flames at 24 pts, colour 0F87D2

12 – Apply a Bevel live effect:

Width: 2 Contrast: 0.3 Softness: 0.2 Profile: Linear Light Angle: 135

The onscreen image should now look something like this:

13 – Apply a Drop Shadow live effect:

Softness 1 Offset 5 Opacity 0.6 Shadow Colour Black Light Angle 315 Noise 0

14 – Adjust Stroke opacity to 43%.

15 – Select the rectangular object (Cold background) and make the following changes:

No Stroke Radial gradient fill      Left stop colour: 19FFF5      Right stop colour: 0042FF      Fill opacity: 63%

Save the file using a different file name and prepare for Part 3 - Hot and Cold
